Impression

Sit up taller, walk with confidence and perhaps some swag.
Embrace borderline cockiness, but don’t brag.
Conduct speech with radiant energy, but with modest, realistic views.
Look into his eyes and note the various hues.
Smile genuinely and listen to him muse.
Be intelligent; be alert and alive.
Utilize all the methods you can contrive
In an attempt to converse casually.
It is best not to stray far from your true self, usually.
Some may claim that first impressions are shallow,
But in immature nonsense, society tends to wallow.
So I play at this game, shooting for the win.
Executing an effortless show, I conjure up a grin.
I have left my mark; I will be remembered.
